-feels obliged to follow the introductions format- D;

Name: Hannah, aka: Suki
Age: 17, but the prime age of eighteen in Juuuune
Region: Swindon in Englaaand, yush.
First system ever owned: Gameboy Colour ^^;; or a PS1, my memory is bad
First game ever played: Uhm... I don't know? Might have been Pokemon
Favourite gaming genre: RPG, most definitely. Or simulation
Favourite games: Fahrenheit//Indigo Child (except for the crap ending), The Sims franchise <3333, Kingdom Hearts, Fable, Samurai Warriors (mega luffs), good 'ol Pokemon games ;3, Animal Crossing
Least favourite games: Erm... I remember once I got given the Rugrats for my Gameboy and that was just-- the worst. D;
I can't really think of other games that I really dislike, to be frank.

D; I find it insulting that you dislike Inuyasha.
(I'm kidding. xD I am a total Inuyasha fanatic but I've never played any of the games so... -- I'm not that shallow. ;3)

---

I seriously love Sims 2. D; And the respective expansion packs.
They're full of wiiiiin!

Though you can't be the good ol' party games like Singstar and DDR, neither. ;D

Welcome Suki! LOL, you didn't need to follow my format, I just like things to be neat... I'm a loser like that.
I can't believe I didn't mention the Kingdom Hearts games in my list >< Or Fable... I fail. I've just played so many games, it's hard to remember which ones were good and which ones were rubbish.
And don't get my wrong about Inuyasha. I enjoy the series (the manga is much better than the anime, IMHO), but the game I have is for PS1 and it's a crap fighting game. It's mostly in Japanese, like they couldn't be bothered to do voice-overs when it was released in North America. And it only took my about an hour to beat it. Not worth my money. But I'm a game hoarder and don't get rid of my games ^-^
Also, good call on DDR. I love that game too!

-follows the formal format as well D: -

Name: Iridescent Hope ( but call me Iri or Hope or even Ride Scent >.> if that's your thing )
Age: 20
Region: PA, in the good old US of A
First system ever owned: Er... NES... though techically that was my brother's. So, PS2.
First game ever played: Aw... damn... Duck Hunt?
Favourite gaming genre: RPG, Sidescroller, Shoot 'em Ups, and Horror Survival
Favourite games/Series: Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, DDR, Megaman X ( LOVE! ), Battlefront... Kuon and Gears of War get special mentions as well. I like the FMA games as well >.>; and, of course, Cookie and Cream
Least favourite games: ... erm... -thinks- Siren. Most X-File games. Um... I guess I have good luck with games and/or great tolerance cause there are very few games I can't stand. Resident Evil games kind of fall here but that's because the controls are clunky - I like Dead Aim and IV.

DONE! I AM DONE!

Yay another Xenosaga fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *is very excited*
Have you played all three games on the PS2? I'll admit that I balled like a child at the end of the third one >< I'll also admit that I had a tinny hissy fit in EB Games when I found out that Xenosaga DS wasn't being released. I was SO looking forward to it, too.

I know this wasn't directed at me but...

I loved the first Xenosaga game. It felt more like a movie during most parts than a video game but the voice acting/voice synching was superb. I was completely enthralled.

So of course I got the second one.

And... I was sorely disappointed. Voice actors changed to some definitely not-as-good actors and the synching became jarring and the plot suddenly got confusing as all hell. I've been meaning to retry it but... it was such a disappointment that it's been hard to make myself play it.

( I guess there are games I don't like >.> )

DONE! I AM DONE!

@ Hope: The whole series is more of a "cinematic" RPG, extremely story-driven. And I know what you mean about the 2nd game. I didn't like it as much as the first... but I LOVED the 3rd game, it's my favourite of the three. Even though it jumps a year from the 2nd game, it's still fantastic (there were supposed to be SIX games originally, but they ran out of money x.x).

@ Twinkle: They aren't releasing it for the DS in North America because of lack of interest. It was released in Japan in March 2006. There's a little information about it HERE!
Have you seen the anime of Xenosaga? It covers the Episode I; it's really well done, fills in some story gaps. The animation is pretty good. I know ADV is releasing it in English in NA, but you can download it from any torrent site. HERE is the Wikipedia page for the animation. I wish they would complete their work and do a series for the other 2 episodes.

OMG Math Blaster!!!!! I remember that "game" ><
Does anyone here remember those stupid Mavis Beacon typing programs that were supposed to teach how to type properly? I remember using one at school in grade 4, I think. It had Mario characters and you were had to type the words on the screen to make the character move. The one level that sticks out in my mind is Princess Peach swimming in the water with fish chasing her and you had to type in order to out-race them to the end O.o Strange, I'm not sure why I remember that so vividly...

i really hope that it comes out for the DS. They need to change their minds.
Ive watched episode 1 of the xenosaga series. the animation is pretty good.
how many eps are there do you know. and they should do a series for the other 2 episodes. that would be awesome. i hate when things arent done like that or they do one thing but not the other.
