Welcome to Elly Sketchit & Roronoa Zoro's Roliana wedding! Although we're a married couple IRL he decided to surprise me with a character-wedding here and I ran away with the idea, turning it into the big gala you see today.

Elly is a nekomata (Japanese demon cat with a split tail) that can turn human and/or in-between forms. Zoro is the pirate swordsman from the anime and manga ONE PIECE (the Japanese one, the actual "real" show, not the kiddy dub).

Everyone is welcome here.You can post even if you weren't "invited".

...in general just be polite and everything should be fine!

@)~ this is a free RPG, you don't have to be super literate, but you can if you want. Elly & Zoro are more relaxed with their roleplays, so don't worry about anything. Just have fun.

@)~ please do not call Zoro 'Zolo'. It will cause Elly to shed - on you. All over you. She hates the 'American' name version, as it reminds her of the way they ruined the anime itself and edited it dreadfully. Besides, the creator named him Zoro.

@)~ no threadjacking for tales of woe/huge back stories of your character and/or for the purpose of creating drama. Don't you know it's terribly impolite to try and create a scene that screams LOOKIT ME at someone's wedding? :B Humor is fine, though. Duh.

@)~ you are not an expert of everything. Please leave the Mary Jane stuff out, okay? No one can be a singer/werewolf/chef/goddess/animal trainer/vampire/monk [add extra details, you get the idea]. It ruins things when someone's doing that ~ it's another version of thread stealing to claim 'look at me!' again.

@)~ don't slobber on the Mods or Pixel Goddesses. (It'll ruin their wedding day finery) LOL

@)~ don't take offense if Elly and/or Zoro doesn't get back to your post right away! We're going to be busy as all hell and on a brand new computer since mine just died yesterday! Zoro is going to be on IE and myself on FF, and we'll swap back and forth for awhile that way if it works well enough...

Welcome to Zoro ("r" plz) & Elly's internet wedding. You may RPG however you want. The only thing we ask is no sob stories or thread stealing for character attention; it's just supposed to be romantic and fun!

Setting: a (pirate) ship on the ocean. Starts with preparation all day, on deck for the ceremony at night. The after-party is later, so if you miss one part can't feel left out; just join the ongoing bash!

The wedding will go on and gradually mesh into an "after party" which will last as long as we want it to.

Tiny waves were lapping the side of the large ship peacefully. The jolly roger at the top snapped and popped in the breeze and the cry of the seabirds seemed joyous today. There was probably a logical reason for that, most of the guests concluded. However, they changed their minds when several panda-like birds settled on the mast and sang as if their hearts were about to break. There couldn't be any doubt that they knew.

Elly and Zoro were finally getting married.

When anyone tried to peer out into the bright expanse all around them all they managed to see was clear blue water. No one around for miles except the people here for the wedding. The deck was trimmed with a few filmy blue balloons here and there but the majority of the decorations were simple shells decorating the many tabletops. Little bags of what appeared to be fish swam around inside wine glasses, simple but cute party favors the guests would all take home with them when they left. For now everyone was gathered outside to wait for the arrival of the bride and groom, chatting and drinking glasses of water or wine. There were also a few silver tankards set around, evidence that some of the guests preferred ale like the groom did. There was a bar set up in a shady corner and a table with empty platters and dishes weighing the plain white cloth down. They were empty, but they wouldn't be for long. There were many different chefs who had been very busy cooking for the event. Sanji had been nearly frantic at the amount of people touching his kitchen implements! In fact if they hadn't been beautiful ladies he probably would have kicked them out into the sea.

No matter. The day was going smoothly so far. Preparations were being made below decks for the bride and groom, the finishing touches on their outfits. Zoro hadn't gotten much sleep the night before but friends of Elly were all over the place in her quarters, making the pale lady coffee since she had just dragged herself up out of bed just like every morning...
